Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all services provided by Go Elite Electrical (“we”, “our”, or “us”) to the customer (“you” or “the client”).
By accepting a quotation, engaging our services, or permitting work to commence, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Services
Go Elite Electrical provides electrical contracting and related services throughout Queensland, Australia. All work will be carried out:

In accordance with applicable Australian Standards and Queensland regulations;
-
By appropriately licensed and qualified personnel; and
-
With reasonable care and skill.
3. Quotations
3.1 All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
3.2 Quotations are based on the information available at the time of preparation. Additional work, variations, or unforeseen circumstances may result in additional charges.
3.3 Any variations requested by the client must be agreed to in writing prior to commencement of additional work where practicable.
4. Pricing and Payment
4.1 All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and may include GST unless otherwise stated.
4.2 Payment terms are strictly as stated on the invoice.
4.3 We reserve the right to:
-
Require deposits prior to commencement of work;

Issue progress invoices for larger projects; and
-
Suspend work where invoices remain unpaid beyond the due date.
4.4 Late payments may incur reasonable recovery costs, administration fees, and interest in accordance with applicable Queensland laws.
5. Access and Site Conditions
5.1 The client must provide safe and reasonable access to the work site during agreed times.
5.2 We reserve the right to refuse or suspend work where:
-
Unsafe conditions exist;
-
Hazardous materials are present and undisclosed; or
-
Site access is restricted or unsuitable.
5.3 Additional charges may apply where delays occur due to factors outside our control.
6. Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for:
-
Providing accurate information regarding the property and existing electrical systems;
-
Obtaining any necessary approvals not specifically included in our quotation; and
-
Ensuring pets, children, and valuables are kept clear of work areas.
7. Warranty
7.1 We warrant our workmanship for a reasonable period in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
7.2 Manufacturer warranties apply to supplied products and equipment where applicable.
7.3 This warranty does not cover:
-
Damage caused by misuse, tampering, third-party works, power surges, storms, or external factors beyond our control;
-
Normal wear and tear; or
-
Client-supplied materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
-
Our liability is limited to the re-supply of services or the reasonable cost of having services supplied again;
-
We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or economic loss including loss of profits, business interruption, or data loss.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
9. Cancellation
9.1 Cancellations must be made with reasonable notice.
9.2 We reserve the right to charge for:
-
Work already completed;
-
Materials purchased or ordered; and
-
Reasonable administrative or scheduling costs incurred prior to cancellation.
10. Emergency and After-Hours Services
Emergency or after-hours services may attract additional call-out fees and hourly rates, which will be advised where possible prior to attendance.
11. Intellectual Property
Any plans, designs, reports, or documentation prepared by Go Elite Electrical remain our property unless otherwise agreed in writing.
12. Privacy
We collect and handle personal information in accordance with applicable Australian privacy laws. Personal information will only be used for business operations, communication, invoicing, and legal obligations.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
14. Acceptance
Acceptance of a quotation, invoice, work order, or commencement of services constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
